$15.00

Presenter: Orlando Obeso
Target Audience:  Trilingual  Interpreters, Aspiring Trilinguals, Students

Workshop/Course Description:
ASL fingerspelling poses a unique challenge for trilingual interpreters when the target language is Spanish. When English is the target language, interpreting receptive fingerspelling is like a coding task. However, when the target language is Spanish, interpreting ASL fingerspelling becomes more involved. Participants will explore how developing strong sight translation skills will aid in the interpretation of ASL fingerspelling when the target language is Spanish.
Presented in MAINLY in SPANISH with ASL and English when needed.
