Trilingual and Bilingual Interpreters, Spanish speakers’ students in ITP programs who would like to become a Trilingual interpreter, bilingual/trilingual Deaf people (Spanish/ASL; Spanish/Sign Language)

Workshop/Course Description:
This webinar discussion will review the purpose of mouthing when interpreting and how a trilingual interpreter applies it when Spanish becomes part of the mouthing linguistic and cultural applications during trilingual assignments. We will discuss briefly on how to keep in mind cultural aspects to be able to decide if the mouthing is done in Spanish or in English when interpreting from ASL.
